China Railway Shanhaiguan Bridge Group Co., Ltd., founded in 1894, is China’s earliest established, largest, and most prominent manufacturer of bridge steel structures and railway turnouts. Its Special Steel Branch, established in 1958, is the unit of the group that handles special steel production, responsible for casting and machining various special steel products. The branch’s main products include high-manganese steel frog points, driving wheels, racks, teeth plates, and various special steel and mining castings. It's known as the birthplace of China’s first high-manganese steel frog points. Currently, the branch produces over 1,100 product types, with more than 600 varieties exported to over 30 countries and regions across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The branch possesses proprietary core smelting technology, high-density casting technology, and digital simulation process technology and has won multiple honors over the years, including the National Quality Award and the Railway Industry Quality Award.
